While historically a family-office which invested using primarily internal sources of capital, the CEO Jack Glottmann and Hue Chen, have expanded rapidly since 2014 by leveraging friends and family capital. Today we have in excess of 175 invesetors across the various funds that we have put together. Currently, the company owns nearly 2.5 million sq ft of neighborhood and community shopping centers across Florida and Georgia. Scaling up Initiative: Saglo had grown in portfolio size by an annual rate of 30% from 2013 to 2023. In order to continue this rate of growth for the next 10 years in a responsible manner, Jack and Hue decided to adopt the Scale Up concept and hire one of their executive coaches. The framework focuses on people, strategy, execution and cash. These concepts aligned strongly with Jack and Hue's principles, especially the focus on people and strategy.
