Founded in 1988 in Olympia, Washington, Safeair started with a small team of professionals bringing over 40 years of experience in human factors research, product testing, and graphic design. The companys timeless aircraft illustrations and icons continue to be displayed in the seatbacks of the worlds leading airlines, charter operators, and corporate aviation fleets. Safeairs customized designs, rapid order fulfillment, and attention to its clients requirements have made the company an industry leader in the design and printing of millions of memorable passenger safety briefing cards. In 2014 Safeair was acquired by Global Aircraft Services of Seattle, Washington. The company was rebranded as Safeair Media to reflect its capabilities beyond custom safety cards to include enhanced cabin graphics and placards, graphic design services, and the licensing of its illustrations for electronic displays as well as use in aircraft marketing materials.
