Beyond serving as just a job training program, RHW recognizes that success in life depends on character as much as abilities and opportunities. RHW inspires, engages and strengthens each participant and changes lives. RHW helps provide a pathway out of poverty for underserved DC youth ages 18-24. By utilizing a holistic approach that combines physical, mental and vocational training, RHW helps promote overall well-being and empower youth for long-term employment. We provide learn and earn pre-apprenticeship training with integrated supplemental services that include soft skills workshops, running sessions, job readiness services, educational supports, and mentoring.
