Richmond is the only brand of milk chocolate sold in the U.S. that has this combination of ingredients. Fine-flavored Caribbean cocoa beans are the highest quality beans in the world and result in chocolates that have an exceptionally rich and flavorful taste. The brands use of cane sugar adds to the uniqueness in its taste. Richmond is manufactured in the Dominican Republic to the most exacting international standards used by other premium brands where the mixing process is long and intense, equating to up to three times as long as the process used by popular brands such as Hershey and Nestle. This ensures that the chocolate has the softest and smoothest possible mouth feel. Lower production costs in the Dominican Republic and reduced duty under the Dominican Republic Central America Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA-DR) allow Roxiana Foods to offer Richmond chocolate at prices that are highly competitive with comparable products from other brands.
