Nonprofits and public agencies, our Community Partners, can tap into a lifetime of experience to fill crucial staffing gaps at affordable rates. ReServists do great things for their communities while putting their professional expertise on part-time service projects in exchange for a modest hourly stipend. The ReServist's stipend is paid by the community partner, grants or foundation funding along with a small administrative program fee. ReServists come from all walks of life, and include marketing managers, social workers, artists, administrative assistants, HR professionals, and financial analysts, as well as people who have worked at all levels in health care, banking, advertising, education and government. Since its inception in 2005, ReServe has partnered with more than 800 non-profits and government agencies assisting in workforce development included, but not limited to the following areas: POVERTY FIGHTING: Community outreach & family support HEALTH CARE: Dementia coaching and health care navigation CAPACITY BUILDING: Administrative, IT, marketing and HR support EDUCATION: Youth mentoring, truancy prevention & college readiness ReServists provide direct services, administrative support, and capacity-building expertise in schools, social service agencies, cultural institutions, and public agencies. Many use their experience with ReServe to launch new careers in the nonprofit sector. ReServe is a subsidiary of Fedcap and currently operates in Baltimore, Boston, Miami, Milwaukee, Newark, New York City and Westchester County.
