Stabler Memorial Hospital began serving the community. 1981, HCA constructed the current physical plant located on 29 L. V. Stabler Drive, Greenville AL. Community Health System (CHS) acquired L. V. Stabler in 1994. On November 1, 2017 L.V. Stabler Memorial Hospital was acquired by the Health Care Authority of the City of Greenville. 2019 L.V. Stabler Hospital dba name became Regional Medical Center of Central Alabama and all associated physician clinics became Regional Medical Clinics of Central Alabama.
