Answer: Protectoplas was founded in 1962 focusing on creating Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic tanks, fittings and duct work. As plastic began to be more readily used in products the business adapted and took in this new technology of Roto Molding polyeurthene into tanks and fittings. Through the 80s and 90s the company began to expand into all aspects of the industrial sector using or storing chemicals, and added air quality equipment, environmental liners, and pollution reduction equipment to improve the safety of workers in those enviroments as well as increasing the longevity of the products. Through this expansion Protectoplas began doing business on a global scale with customers from Brazil to Spain to Saudi Arabia. In 1993 the second generation of the company begins as John A Eberly succeeds his father John L Eberly and begins to expand the business even further. He introduces the WFN or welded flange nozzle, and the creation of our trademarked Bleach-Guard Tank and AG-Tank II targeting both the industial chemical sector and the agriculture sector. During this time the third generation begins to work in the shop on the weekends and after school as Zach Eberly dives into the family business. By learning the process from the ground up Zach was able to see the larger picture and with his father they began repositioning the company into creating engineered builds meeting the specific needs of the clients. At the end of 2015 Zach succeed his father and is now the third generation to continue to grow and expand the business. Establishing a standard product line of Mixing Tanks and creating the only true Double Wall Cone Bottom Tank in the industry.
