Answer: Plum Tree is a Child and Adolescent Psychology services provider. We provide a full range of children's services: Psychological Assessments, Individual Therapy, Family/Parent Therapy, Children's Groups, Individual Coaching, and ADHD Coaching. Plum Tree offers comprehensive ADHD evaluations, including: continuous performance testing (Test of Variables of Attention), behavior rating skills, observations (also offered in natural environment), and collaboration with parents and teachers. Strong consideration is given to the multiple medical issues that can look like ADHD--including possible vision or hearing problems, possible diet allergies or deficiencies, or possible sleep disorders. Plum Tree's DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) Program incorporates individual therapy, multi-family skills groups, and coaching calls by DBT Intensively Trained therapists. This program is for children ages 13-17 with histories of self-injury and/or suicidal behaviors, with emotional lability, impulsive behaviors, identity conflict, and conflicted interpersonal relationships. Plum Tree's children's groups are skill-specific, and designed for discrete age ranges to target appropriate developmental stages and benchmarks. These can be effective adjunctive treatments for children in individual therapy. Also, many families may elect to enroll a neurotypical (no mental illness diagnosis) child in classes only. Plum Tree was founded by Ann Weller, Psy.D.
