Our fundamental principle is to provide our valued clients with the personal attention they deserve while focusing on delivering quality work in a timely and efficient manner and accepting nothing less than excellent results. Our founder, Alex Ploutis, would say, "There is only one thing more important than Excellence- Maintaining it!" As an immigrant from Greece, arriving in America with little more than the belief that regardless of where he was from, with hard work, he could succeed in this new land, and he did just that. After several years of working as a painter, in 1960, he decided to open his own painting company. With a strong work ethic, dedication, and determination, he made the Ploutis name into a reputable company in the industry. In 1972, he was awarded the contract for the United States Capital Rotunda painting in preparation for the 1976 bicentennial celebration. Alex continued to work in Ploutis Contracting with his daughter Stella and her husband Gus Koukides. They worked with him right of out college until he retired in 2009. Stella and Gus continue to work off Alex's legacy. Our legacy is important to us, and our values have not wavered. Building relationships with our clients on trust and commitment to excellence continue to be the cornerstone of our success.
