Answer: When learning about Platinum Touch Industries, our story starts with Vince Gendusa, an experienced entrepreneur, and a multi-time award-winning North Shore contractor. In October of 1999, Vince Gendusa first launched his vision of entrepreneurship. He started by founding Skyline Contractors Inc., a Chicagoland concrete, excavation, and snowplow business. From humble beginnings, he built Skyline Contractors with a simple pick-up truck and wheelbarrow. In doing so, he constructed residential patios by hand, working a second job on nights and weekends to not only make payroll, but also to expand the company as a whole. Through hard work and relentless tenacity, Vince completed projects with exceptional floor flatness (FF) and floor levelness (FL) valuations. Eventually, this project quality enabled Vince to develop Skyline Contractors in a multi-million-dollar commercial contracting business. Having led numerous multi-acre land developments, Vince mastered his approach to project management, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timeliness. In March 2011, Vince Gendusa helped to build the world-renowned Runners sculpture at the OHare International Airport. Vince Gendusa was heavily involved in the major Chicagoland blizzards of 1999, 2011, and 2015. As a matter of fact, Vince brought over 30 pieces of equipment to OHare International Airport, clearing away millions of commercial square feet of snow. By doing so, Vince Gendusa spearheaded the project to keep OHare Airport running in spite of the frigid conditions. With a reputation for strong project quality and an established base of loyal customers, Vince officially founded Platinum Touch Industries in 2004. Platinum Touch Industries concentrates on residential and commercial construction, real estate development, insurance restoration projects, and energy-efficient buildings. Fast-forward to 2023, Platinum Touch Industries received numerous awards and recognitions, including Best of Houzz five years in a row!
