Answer: Pamela Froman began her career in Paris, designing jewelry for European couturier salons, including Courreges, Cacharel, Guy Larouche, and Valentino. While she enjoyed working with these established labels, she felt the need to share her personal definition of exceptional jewelry and decided to launch her signature line. Living in Europe inspired the designers love of old-world architecture, especially scroll-y wrought iron gates and the decorative domes of St. Petersberg. To create her unique styles, the award-winning designer hand-selects exquisite diamonds, striking gemstones, and rare pearls, paring them with her distinct colors of 18k gold she has developed, as well as 22k, Platinum, finishing each piece with her signature Crushed texture. Originally from the giant melting point of Manhattan, NY, Pamela now resides in California and makes all of her pieces locally. I feel strongly that individuality is the underlying theme of beauty, the designer explains. Each piece is handmade, so no two will ever be identical, even if they are similar in design. Dubbed The Golden Girl by W Magazine, jewelry lovers have had a crush on Pamela Fromans unique design style since the debut of her collection, which earned her the promising title of JCK Rising Star (2006). When InDesign Magazine identified Pamela as one of the Best New Designers of 2008, it marked the beginning of an award-winning streak that has yet to slow down. She has since been honored to receive the prestigious Town & Country Design Award for Best of Gold (2008), as well as multiple AGTA Spectrum Awards (2009, 2012, 2013), MJSA Vision Awards (2009, 2010, 2012), WJA Diva Awards (2009, 2012, 2013, 2015), and won the Couture Design for Best in Bridal (2009). She has been nominated for the WJA Excellence in Design Award multiple times (2009, 2012, 2013) and won in 2015! Then she won 1st runner up in the Platinum Category for the 2018 Instore Design Awards.
