Answer: Our central aim at PalsNPets is to offer support that meets the unique needs of homeless people with pets. We are a different kind of organization dedicated solely to this group who are often the most in need of help. We recognize the unique and special bond that exists between a homeless person and their pet. But with so many shelters refusing to accept animals, accessing a safe place to sleep can mean breaking that bond and abandoning a beloved friend. Without access to shelter, food, support and transitional services a homeless person is unable to move forward or build a better life. We will actively work to change public perceptions and we imagine a time when society will not judge the homeless for keeping pets... Everyday we see homeless people who put the needs of their beloved animal companion before their own. They sacrifice food to feed their pet and give up the chance of shelter because it means that they would be parted. We want everyone to see the value that having a pet brings to the life of a homeless person... Providing unconditional love and companionship in times of loneliness. A life which could be empty is enriched by the sense of responsibility and purpose that comes from owning a pet. We understand that we cant change the whole world alone but we look forward to building a better future one life at a time.
