Answer: Pacific Point Academy is a full day academic center for students with mild to moderate learning challenges and a collaboration between educators and experts in the field of special education who reside in the same suite. Comprehensive assessment and intervention are provided for each student. The full day program is designed for children with mild to moderate attention and learning differences and multiple related learning issues. Children who are struggling in their current academic setting and could benefit from individualized instruction and a modified academic curriculum. We understand that working and learning with others is extremely important for elementary age students. While one to one academic instruction is needed, forming effective social skills with peers is of equal importance for development of the whole child. In between one to one instruction, our Full Day Program includes small breaks where students participate in yoga, art, lunch and physical education together. During these social breaks, children have fun and establish effective communication skills while enjoying small group interaction with their friends.
