Answer: Our mission is to foster, provide, and teach peaceful problem solving. At Northwest Mediation, we strive to solve conflicts by increasing your sense of personal power to resolve disputes. Our mediators work with all parties to develop solutions that are realistic, achievable, and long term. Mediation is an alternative to lengthy and expensive legal battles, and can save relationships, time, and money. Our goal is not to determine who is right or wrong, but rather to facilitate resolutions with favorable outcomes for all parties involved. Northwest Mediation Center is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, authorized under RCW 7.75, The Court Improvement Act of 1984, for the purpose of providing alternative dispute resolution services without regard to a participants ability to pay. We offer mediator training and certification and conflict resolution education to the community. Northwest Mediation Center also offers the court mandated co-parenting Seminar Sharing the Children to help parents address their childrens needs and interesting during and after separation, divorce, or other family changes.
