In addition to providing maintenance for three (3) DHC-8-400 (Q400) aircraft, NAMS provides all below wing services including baggage handling and screening, aircraft catering, aircraft marshalling, and passenger screening. NAMS employs over 70 people in Anchorage, Kuparuk, and Alpine to service the Q400, while also supporting the oil company with contract maintenance on DHC-6-300/400 Twin Otter and CASA 212-300 aircraft in Alpine. In 2022, NAMS became the first FAA Part 145 Repair Station in Alaska with a certified Safety Management System (SMS) program.
