Answer: The Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Jersey (NOFA-NJ) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization creating an economically-viable, regenerative agricultural system in the New Jersey region. We are a membership-based organization that provides educational and technical services in order to create a vibrant network of organic and sustainable farmers, gardeners, businesses, organizations, and consumers. NOFA-NJ serves the entire state of New Jersey and surrounding areas with year-round public programs including farmer meetings, workshops for homeowners and consumers, professional development training, farm business planning courses, and the annual Winter Conference. In 2011, NOFA-NJ will launch a beginning farmer program that will provide introductory agriculture courses, mentorship, and access to land.
