Answer: No Dog Gets Left Behind is an all-volunteer Philadelphia-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides financial support to reunite military personnel with the stray dogs they find and bond with while deployed - a $5,000-per-pet expense that includes vaccines, medical treatment, transportation and more. While the financial investment is substantial, the relief, comfort and joy this program provides soldiers is immeasurable. To date NDGLB has funded nearly 70 soldier/dog reunions. In 2016, recognizing the role animals play in healing, relieving stress, and bringing love into the lives of our heroes, NDGLB expanded its mission by introducing our Strays for Soldiers program. In addition to making re-unions possible, NDGLB is now facilitating new unions through a partnership with the PSPCA, through which we will help subsidize the adoption fees for qualified active military and veterans who give a forever home to a shelter pet. NDGLB hosts two annual fundraisers, the Spring Fling (held in March/April in Philadelphia) and the Fall Ball (held in October in Warminster, PA).
