Answer: As the operator of one of Europe's largest Virtual Power Plants, we network thousands of electricity producers, consumers, and storage facilities to form a strong team of renewables. That's why we don't just define ourselves as an electricity trader, an energy service provider, or a cleantech company. First of all, we are "the Power of Many" for the energy transition! Our Virtual Power Plant (VPP) now aggregates more than 15,000 small and medium-sized electricity producers and consumers. These include solar and biogas plants, battery storage, natural gas CHP, hydro and wind power plants, as well as industrial consumers, backup generators and power-to-X plants. Through our central control system, we manage the networked plants so that they produce electricity in line with demand and the market. In addition to participating in the balancing energy market, we trade the plants' electricity via our own 24/7 power trading on various European exchanges (e.g., EPEX Spot and EEX). Not only is our portfolio growing we are now the largest PV trader in Germany but our company is also attracting new team members who are curious and enthusiastic about the energy transition. So the Power of Many" is not only the driving force towards 100% renewable energy, but it also stands for teamwork and the cooperative way we work.
