Answer: Neighborhood Schools mission is to guide children from under-served communities to love learning and develop the academic skills and virtues to succeed in life and transform their communities. In August of 2019, Eastex-Jensen Classical Academy and Westchase Classical Academy opened their doors to students and families. Neighborhood Schools Inc. (NSI) helped start and supports these two schools to ensure that students, families and community have access to resources that will enable the revitalization of their community. NSI helps students at our two partner campuses to meet their academic, mental, physical, and social needs. Over the past 2 years, NSI has built partnerships with more than 20 non-profits, churches, civic groups and businesses to provide food, holiday gifts, school supplies, and technology to the students and community. For the 2020 2021 school year, both campuses offer PreK-3 through 2nd grade and 5th through 6th grade. Currently they offer both in-person and virtual learning. They are continuing to enroll for the current year and are now taking applications for the 2021 2022 school year for PreK-3 through 7th grade.
