NDF CEO Michiyo Yoshizaki founded the company in 1995, after a successful career as vice president of Nippon Herald Films, one of Japan's largest distributors. Producers Zack Winfield and Ado Yoshizaki in 2004 and set up a new slate of films, carrying on the NDF tradition of working with some of the most exciting directors in the UK and beyond. Current projects include City of Tiny Lights (d. Pete Travis), The Aura (d. James Marsh), Last Passenger (d.Omid Nooshin), and The Widow (d. Antonia Bird).
