Answer: Morris County Farms, Inc. was founded in 1955. We are open all year round with certain seasonal specialties taking precedence throughout the year. Our spring/summer season starts in mid-March. We begin to stock our nursery yard with numerous perennials, shrubs and trees as well as the back greenhouses with various annuals, garden supplies and garden decor. Our spring/summer season lasts until August when we begin to get ready for our Christmas season. During the winter months our back greenhouses are transformed into a fully stocked Christmas Shop, where decorations, candles, ribbon, supplies, and artificial greens can be found as well as a full line of live fresh-cut wreaths, garlands and trees. While there are definite seasonal shifts present, one thing is always constant and that is our tropical greenhouses (fully stocked year-round with numerous house plants and trees), the basket/supply barn (which houses all of our baskets, pot covers, floral supplies and silk flowers), and our showroom. Our showroom is constantly changing with the seasons. It is always stocked with our latest additions and provides a wonderful resource for ideas as well as a pleasant place to browse. You will always find everyday ribbon and glassware as well as an ever changing variety of new gift items and home decor. At Morris County Farms, we fulfill the wholesale needs of florists, landscapers, and interior decorators as well as our well-established retail customer base.
