MEDAs primary members are investor-owned public utility companies in the State of Missouri. All investor-owned utilities are regulated by the Missouri Public Service Commission. MEDA member companies have a combined total of 3,837,322 customers in Missouri and they employ more than 11,500 people. From 2007-2009, MEDA member companies spent over $4.8 billion on capital expenditures.
