Answer: MINI of Santa Monica is a newly built retail location, the first ever MINI-only store in the city of Santa Monica. We are family owned and operated independently. Truly dedicated to the MINI brand we are the only retail location in the region to have no affiliation with any BMW store. This means we are authentically exclusive to our MINI customer base. MINI of Santa Monica is also one of the only dealerships in North America to have a LEED Platinum Certification something we are very proud of. We wanted to show our commitment to sustainability by creating a facility that is industry leading and can bring awareness to other members of the automotive retail community. As well as demonstrating that we can put our best foot forward to creating a better future. The choice in design for our facility is a reflection of where we are going as a brand as well; which consists of more fuel-efficient models including plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and an expanded full-electric model lineup. We want to set the bar for urban automotive retail in Santa Monica and LA by creating a truly urban retail experience. We sought to be practical and efficient in our use of space: our roof is completely solar, our repair facility is located on the second floor as to reduce noise pollution for our local community on the ground floor. We have no outdoor parking lot, as all of our service and inventory vehicles are kept on two subterranean parking levels. We operate an annual ride share evaluation for all employees as to encourage ride-sharing and alternative modes of transportation. Additionally, we have partnered with local Coffeehouse, Coffee Commissary, in order to provide a value-added experience to the community and to create a more walk-able and consumer-friendly boulevard. Whether it be for service, sales or just for a cup of coffee, we invite you to stop by and join us in setting the bar for urban retail.
