Answer: Mike's Organic Delivery is a home and office delivery service located in Fairfield County. We only work with local, organic/sustainable farms and deliver: Veggies, Fruit, Eggs, Honey, Poultry, Lamb, Pork, Beef, Wild Caught Fish / Shellfish, Pasta & Ravioli straight from the farm right to your door! Farm Fresh. Local. Delivered. The idea for our business came from living in the Kalahari Desert in Botswana! Standing in a super market in Maun, Botswana (6 years ago) and seeing how fresh all the food was, inspired me to learn more about how our food is grown and how to bring fresh, local food to my community. Upon my return, I immersed myself in the local farming community; working on farms, attending lectures and learning how farming has changed over the last 30 years. Every week we drive to the farms, pick up the freshest produce, eggs, cheese, meat, honey, pastas and more, then deliver them right to people in their homes or at work. The opportunity to interact with all of our farmers on a personal basis every week has taught us the value of sustainably grown food, the evolving farming community in the North East, and the importance of eating food grown close to home. As we continue to grow, our aim is to help the local food movement gain speed and to support our amazing local farmers!
