MHNI is accredited by the Joint Commission. Its renowned hospital program treats the Institutes most severe cases, many of which are referred to MHNI from around the world. The Institute's advanced and pioneering programs have influenced the development of headache medicine worldwide. Among its many awards and recognized achievements, MHNI is the recipient of the first Center of Excellence Award for headache by the American Pain Society. MHNI utilizes a multidisciplinary team of specially trained physicians, PAs, NPs, Ph.D. psychologists, RNs, physical therapists and technicians.
