Answer: MESA-Outreach, Inc. (formerly Houston Northwest Community Center, Inc.), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, was formed in late 2009 as an independent community-based organization to help fill the void left behind when Bear Creek Assistance Ministries, the areas most significant community service provider, shuttered its doors. HNwCC started its Food Pantry operations in 2012 when one family attended the first food pantry night. We have grown significantly in the numbers served and the programs offered since that time. We are focused on helping the children in our community by providing basic needs and programs that will help to improve the quality of their future. We welcome everyone who can offer their talents, resources and time with a desire to support their neighbors. We do this because we realize that communities are made of neighbors. By helping each other, we build a stronger community.
