Today, MD Marine Electric operates in five states and has contracts with two separate union halls to ensure a work force for any sized project. MD Marine has two basic divisions, the first is to ensure the 24 hour, emergency maintenance needs for tugboats, barges, and fishing boats. The second division is focused primarily on large projects. The result is that MD Marine has a well established track record in the successful accomplishment of these large projects while also delivering high quality electrical maintenance to the company's core business area of smaller vessels. MD Marine has the quarterly and annual maintenance responsibilities for Crowley and Kirby Transportation's tugboats and barges. MD Marine enjoys high customer relationships and retention.
