Mission Math for America (MA) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to improve mathematics education in US public secondary schools by recruiting, training and retaining outstanding mathematics teachers. Overview MA LA offers the MA Fellowship to improve secondary mathematics education in the greater Los Angeles area and address a critical shortage of mathematics and science teachers in Los Angeles. MA LA has joined with partner universities the University of Southern California (USC), Claremont Graduate University (CGU) and Harvey Mudd College (HMC) to create the Fellowship program, with support from the National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Scholarship Program and private foundations.
