Answer: Map Academy is a Commonwealth Charter school approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to serve students who have completed eighth grade through age 24 who are disengaged from and/or have dropped out of school, providing off-track youth with an opportunity to reach their potential. The mission of Map Academy is to help youth find their way with individualized roadmaps designed to promote success in students for whom traditional school has not worked. Student-centered academics, a highly supportive culture, and career development opportunities equip students with the knowledge, mindsets, and skills to meet the high standards necessary for postsecondary education and meaningful employment.
