We serve children ages 2 1/2 to 18 who live in Oregon and Clark County, Washington. In fiscal year 2023, we are on track to grant 270 wishes to local children. Studies show that a wish improves the quality of life for children. A Wish Impact Study conducted by TCC Group from 2010 through 2011 found that wish experiences benefit childrens health, both in the short and long-term. According to the study: 89% of health care professionals surveyed say they believe that the wish experience can influence wish kids physical health. 91% of parents observed that the wish experience increased their childs emotional health. 81% of parents observed an increased willingness by their wish kids to comply with treatment protocols.
