The firm, founded in 1984 as Parker and Scogin, later as Scogin Elam and Bray, was formed in order to take full advantage of the complementary skills and talents of the two principals. Mack Scogin and Merrill Elam have made the commitment to organize all of the work in a manner that ensures the involvement in the day-to-day development of each project.
