Answer: For more than 70 years Lokay Lanes has been a staple of the Monroeville community. It was originally founded as A&B Bowling Alley. Best known in the 1990s, when operating as Mosside Lanes, as a filming location of the classic Bill Murray bowling flick Kingpin. In 2000, Mosside Lanes was purchased by brothers Jack & Jim Lokay. After a complete overhaul with the assistance of their other brothers George, Rich, and Tim and many family members and friends, the center was reopened in September 2001 as Lokay Lanes. As a family-owned and operated center, the Lokay brothers created a successful, fun business for the community for more than 20 years. July 2022, Lokay Lanes was again bought by two brothers. This time, John and Justin Lokay, sons of Jack, purchased Lokay Lanes. It is their goal to create a fun, family-centered entertainment facility that is well equipped for both sport and recreational bowling.
