Answer: We are a boutique float spa located in Southampton, PA. We have two float tanks. You have access to light controls, as well as an option for music and an intercom system in the room. Floating was created in 1954 by Dr. John C. Lilly and was previously known as sensory deprivation or R.E.S.T. (Restricted Environmental Sensory Technique). We define float therapy as floating in anti-gravity float tank filled with 1,000 pounds of Epsom Salt dissolved into 800 gallons of body temperature water, to help minimize external stimuli to enhance overall relaxation.
