Answer: Little Traverse Bay Humane Society is dedicated to providing animals the tender, loving care and attention they need to become adoptable companions. We are a no-kill, non-profit organization located in Emmet County, Michigan. Each year, we find homes for 500-plus dogs and cats and also offer a number of proactive programs and services to better serve the needs of our community and animals who reside here. We have low-cost spay/neuter programs that help curb the pet overpopulation in additional to behavioral modification programs. We also offer programs for people to receive affordable veterinary care for their animals and a Pet Food Pantry open and available to the public. We have an educational outreach program, and a reading program for students, in addition to a therapy program for local senior residents. We offer adoption services, boarding, grooming, daycare and training and also veterinary services. In addition to being an adoption center and offering our animals everything they need until they find their forever home, we are very committed to educating the public about the humane treatment of companion animals. Our top priority is to care for the animals who need us the most. We believe these animals warrant our best effort, and despite being ownerless, deserve a loving place to call home.
