Caitlin Hibma, architectural historian, has a Masters of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Oregon and has worked at two of the Bay Area's leading preservation architecture firms. As Left Coast Architectural History, she undertakes historic resources surveys, evaluation and documentation projects, and provides historic preservation consulting to private property owners, design professionals, and local government organizations. Her past experience has extended throughout California and into the Pacific Northwest and has embodied a wide array of project types. Caitlin's specialties are historic resources survey work and evaluations. Her professional interests include California history, early vernacular architecture, adobe construction, and historic barns and agricultural resources. Caitlin currently serves as a City of Richmond Historic Preservation Commissioner and Board Secretary of the Point Richmond History Association.
