OVER THE YEARS SINCE ITS FOUNDING IN 1983, K&F Coffee Roasters has earned its place amongst the most respected roasters in Portland, and considering the competition in what has become the epicenter of the craft roasting industry, we are humbled to work amidst some of the finest roasters in the world. Despite all of the years weve spent perfecting our craft, were still learning, still discovering at deeper levels now, what there is to know about coffee and the art of creating unforgettable flavors. Our ongoing exploration and discovery of coffees nuances is testament to the complex nature of our trade. K&F Coffee Roasters is now the oldest family-owned specialty coffee roaster in Portland. INSIDE EACH BEAN LIES A MYSTERY. A mystery that in the hands of a master can be coaxed out to reveal something, albeit subtle, that has never yet been unearthed. It is this challenge that fuels us. Its about a lifelong obsession that began decades ago with a father and son drawn to the coffee bean and all of the mysteries waiting to be discovered inside each and every one of them.
