Answer: Keehi Memorial Organization ("KMO") is a 501c3 corporation whose mission is to honor and support all veterans and also provide support for youth-at-risk who reside in the Liliha-Kalihi-Kapalama district of Honolulu. KMO manages Keehi Lagoon Memorial Park, a State of Hawaii park, by special agreement with the Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) Division of State Parks. The organization is self-supporting through rental of park facilities to the general public and through gifts from donors. Formerly known as the "Pacific War Memorial", the park features a special obelisk monument dedicated to the memory of veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. KMO is governed by a 12 member Board of Directors. The current President is Alma Grocki, Rear Admiral, U.S. Navy (Retired). The current Vice President is Gil Tam, Colonel, U.S. Army (Retired). The current Executive Director is Dean Pua Kekoolani.
