Independent Organization Jackson County United Way (JCUW) is an independent organization founded and governed by local volunteers to improve lives and strengthen our community. JCUW is a member of United Way of America and annually completes certification of strict membership requirements. Stringent Checks and Balances Jackson County United Way has a stringent system of checks and balances in place to ensure that it is operated in a sound fiscal manner.
