Answer: Indiana United Methodist Children's Home (IUMCH), serves youth with behavioral, emotional, and/or non-addictive substance abuse issues who are in need of non-secure residential placement or those who have completed inpatient treatment, higher level residential placement or detention and may need transitional services before living independently or family reunification. Our program uses the Evidence-Based Teaching-Family Model; youth are served in a family-style therapeutic group home environment using trauma-informed care principles and a fully accredited on campus school. The program offers services based on individual needs and may include the following: individual counseling, family counseling, social skills training, psychiatric/psychological services, off campus education option, TASC preparation, spiritual support, recreation activities, aftercare counseling for 90 days after discharge, independent living, vocational education, highly individualized care, and family involvement in treatment.
