In 1999, they founded Ibarra Rosano Design Architects, and have since earned national recognition as one of Arizona's top design firms for their modern desert architecture. Their work has been published internationally and has received over fifty regional and national design awards. They were selected by Architecture Magazine as one of nine firms to represent their state in its issue on "the Arizona School", and their work was exhibited at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art in its architecture and design show featuring work from six firms based in the southwest region. They were honored with Residential Architect's "Rising Star" National Leadership Award in 2008 and were recently included among 50 international firms for their "ra50: Short List of Architects We Love" for their body of work to date.
