HYPE Athletics believes that families are the foundation of our society and works for their preservation and support. Changing Youth with Life Skills - This early intervention / diversion program is designed to instill a sense of hope and convey the belief that change is possible while empowering youth to organize themselves to achieve their goals. Group Mentoring - HYPE Athletics will provide weekly community-based mentoring services to program youth. Substance Abuse Education HYPE Athletics will offer a substance abuse prevention and education program for youth ages 7-18 and their parents / caregivers. The substance abuse program seeks to promote a reduction in substance abuse and associated delinquent behavior. The program model will utilize education and group counseling to encourage youth to refrain from substance use. Sports Programs - HYPE Athletics will involve participants in a variety of athletic training camps, tournaments, and leagues to promote and educate youth to work in unity, develop a teamwork mentality, to encourage positive competition, and increase their physical fitness.
