Answer: Housing Unlimited provides affordable, independent housing for people in mental health recovery in Montgomery County, MD. We purchase townhouses, condominiums located in scattered sites throughout the County and rent to people who are ready to take the next step in their recovery. Most of the people that we serve come from supervised housing, homelessness or the homes of aging parents. In our first twenty-three years, we have purchased 71 homes that serve 197 individuals. But, with over 300 people on our waiting list, we must continue to grow so that everyone who is ready to live independently has a home.
