Answer: The Hoosier BMW Car Club is all about people who enjoy driving the ultimate driving machine and sharing each other's company. Whether your BMW is a 20-year-old sedan in need of tender loving care or a brand-new roadster, the Hoosier BMW Car Club offers something to appeal to every enthusiast. Club members network with old friends and new acquaintances, exercise their BMWs and hone their skills in a variety of driving events, and learn how to maintain and enhance their prized possessions. Through the Membership Rewards Program, club members can earn substantial rebates on their next new or certified pre-owned BMW. And the club's monthly Roundel magazine provides a wealth of information about all facets of BMW ownership and club activities. Want to learn the limits of your car and increase your driving skills in a safe, legal environment? Participate in the "Rites of Spring" driving school at Putnam Park Road Course, a nationally renowned track less than an hour from Indianapolis. Experienced instructors provide in-car and classroom coaching to increase your awareness, knowledge and confidence in both extreme and everyday driving situations. Club members impart their driving expertise to young drivers as well through the BMW CCA Foundation's Street Survival teen driving safety program at area high schools. Graduates of this one-day program reduce their risk of an at-fault traffic accident by a whopping 90%! The club conducts a series of autocrosses, which are timed competitive events in which drivers navigate a relatively low-speed obstacle course in a parking lot. We also host a variety of one-day and weekend driving tours, either to visit culinary or recreational destinations or to drive entertaining roads throughout southern Indiana.
