Now in our ninety-fifth year, we remain true to our mission to strengthen our community with advocacy and support to individuals and families challenged by obstacles to communication that arise from hearing and speech-language differences. We deliver audiology services, occupational therapy and speech therapy, and D/deaf services at 3 area offices and through outreach and partnerships with community organizations. In 2018, 6,700 individuals received direct (4,100) and indirect (2,600) services from HSDC, with direct services growing 57% over 2017. YTD data suggest the total reach in 2019 will exceed 7,000. About 75% of our patients report incomes at or below the 200% Federal Poverty Level.
