Answer: Full service shipyard located in the Florida panhandle in the town of Port St. Joe; 20 miles east of Panama City. Marine rail capability up to 1,000 tons. Founded in 1998 initially as the production yard for building SWATH vessels for Nekton Diving Cruises, the yard diversified into work for clients primarily commercial after completing production of the Nekton Rorqual in 2001. The yard continued regular annual maintenance and refits of the Nekton fleet in addition to a wide range of commercial work including numerous new builds of tugs, barges, houseboats, commercial fishing boats and other unique vessels in addition to haul-outs and maintenance of existing vessels.
