Further assistance comes from Greer Relief and/or other community organizations/volunteers. Verne Smith Center was established by then SC Senator J. The one-stop center was founded with funding provided by state agencies and the City of Greer, and has served the community as a hub of job, health, family, disability, and emergency services since that time.
