Incorporated in 1954, Giering Metal Finishing, Inc. had spread its reputation to manufacturing companies throughout the Northeastern United States. By the 1960s, Giering Metal Finishing, Inc. expanded its surface finishing services, offering degreasing, pretreatments, plating, anodizing, hand spray, and automated finishing. George Giering, III took over in 1969, integrating both powder coating and electrocoating technologies by the early 1980s. In 2001, George Giering, IV joined the company as a third-generation Giering. These expansions to the company have sharpened the competitive edge already established in the industry, making Giering Metal Finishing, Inc. the company it is today.
