Answer: As New Englands premier Biomass-focused, self-performing contractor, Froling Energy specializes in biomass energy projects for institutional, commercial and industrial clients. Our crews have been proven in the field for large and medium scale biomass retrofits and new construction. When Froling Energy handles the job, you can put your full faith and trust in our team--that the work will be done professionally, with attention to detail and on time. Since 2002, Froling Energy has pioneered in combining engineering, procurement and construction services with biomass and renewable energy expertise. In 2014 we began making and delivering Precision Dried Woodchips (PDCs) in NH, VT and MA. PDCs are screened chips that we dry down to 25% moisture content that are blown into above-grade silos. They are burned in high efficiency boilers that we have installed in schools, industry and medical facilities. Our new PDC plant opened in 2021 in Keene. Combined, each winter our customers are offsetting the use of over 1.5 million gallons of #2 fuel oil. Plus they are saving money and keeping many more fuel dollars in the local, rural New England economy.
