Answer: The Longest Trail in Fairfield County. The NRVT is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organized in 2011. Its fourteen member Board of Directors includes representatives from the five towns through which the NRVT runs: Norwalk, Wilton, Ridgefield, Redding, and Danbury. It is an all-volunteer organization, with the exception of a part-time Executive Director. The NRVT meets monthly and meetings are open to the public. The NRVT mission is to build and maintain a 30 mile, ten-foot wide multi-use trail from Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk, passing through Wilton, Ridgefield and Redding terminating at Rogers Park in Danbury. #NorwalkRiverValleyTrail #NRVT
