By investing in Texas students participation in FIRST, we address the growing demands of the STEM workforce. WHO WE ARE With guidance and oversight provided by the FIRST in Texas Board, we disperse hundreds of thousands of dollars in team grants each year. FIRST in Texas works closely with FIRST, which inspires young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation and foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. MISSION FIRST in Texas mission is to increase access to FIRST programs in Texas. Our vision is that every Texas student has the opportunity to participate in FIRSTRobotics!
